SR DR MUHAMMAD EHSAN CHE MUNAAIM
Co-Founder and Lead Facilitator/Mentor
Dr Ehsan is the son of a paddy farmer, who grew up in Perlis. He attended Sekolah Tengku Budriah (primary) and Sekolah Menengah Derma (secondary). Seeing his dad struggle to make ends meet when he was a child, Dr Ehsan determined to change his life through education. He became a committed student at Derma and later pursued his bachelor’s degree at the University of Malaya, from which he graduated with distinction. He went on to study at seven more universities including Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge University and King’s College London obtaining several degrees including a PhD in Law and an MBA. Dr Ehsan has taught at some of the world’s top universities including University College London. Dr Ehsan is a Contracts Director at Systra Group, a French consulting firm with 40 offices worldwide including Dubai, UAE, where he is currently based in. He is also a Consultant Quantity Surveyor (CQS) in Malaysia and Chartered Quantity Surveyor (FRICS) in the UK.
In between juggling two jobs and running Inspirasi, Dr Ehsan enjoys spending time with his four children playing games that he invented namely rumah rumah, swiss roll, Mr Perfect, to name a few.

NOORAZALIA IZHA HARON
Co-Founder and Lead Trainer/Mentor
Azalia is a mother of two children and was born in Perlis. She served as an English teacher in a few schools in Perlis, having the belief that she could do more than just teaching English to the locals; inspiring young souls. The last school that she served was her alma mater, Sekolah Menengah Derma. She left the Ministry of Education armed with seven years of teaching and climbed the ladder to join the Ministry of Higher Education to continue inspiring others.
Having a great passion in writing, Azalia is also an award-winning writer. She has written a few books, published by Oxford, which are officially used as textbooks in one of the largest universities in Malaysia and has won herself a few prestigious awards in writing namely Anugerah Buku Negara, Anugerah Khas Penulisan and Anugerah Penerbitan Buku. With these awards lining up on her wall, she has no intention of stopping in her writing career.
With the belief that “success does not happen by chance”, she joins INSPIRASI and hopes to change the minds, souls and lives of others especially the young ones.

RAJA RAINA SACHA RAJA SAHARMAN
Co-Founder and Lead Administrator/Mentor
Shasha (known by family and friends) was born and raised in Perlis. Her father died when she was three and she attended Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Putra (primary) and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Derma (secondary). She is active in sports and in early 2018 achieved a Trifecta Medal in SPARTAN. She is also an art enthusiast, performing traditional dances when she was in school and singing in private functions in her free time nowadays. She is also involved in event management and occasionally engaged by government and private clients as an emcee for official functions. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in human resource at UiTM on a part time basis whilst working full time as an office secretary at UNIMAP. She is a firm believer that ‘What Doesn’t Kill You, Makes You Stronger’. Only you can prove that you are strong (inside and outside) as you are competing with yourself. At Inspirasi, she manages the administration and operation aspects of the company and acts as a moderator and an event manager.

DR FIJAY FAUZI
Facilitator (Science and Maths) & Mentor (Careers in Academia and Engineering)
Dr Fijay was born in Kangar, Perlis and received his B. Eng. (Electrical) and M.Eng. (Mechatronic & Automatic Control) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2003 and 2006 respectively. In 2015 he was awarded a PhD in renewable energy science and engineering from Shefield Hallam University, UK. He has published 17 international journals and conference research papers in this field. He has been regularly invited as a speaker on effective and innovative learning techniques in mathematics and science by schools in Malaysia including Sekolah Menengah Derma due to his vast experience in teaching these subjects for 12 years. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at UniMAP.

IR MUHAMMAD AMRI MUSHADDIK
Mentor (Careers in Engineering)
Ir. Amri is a profesional electrical engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and a Member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia. He is also an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer. He has over 16 years of professional experience in the construction industry. He has successfully led and managed electrical systems including the design, installation, construction and commissioning of mega projects across various sectors including hospital, hotel, highway, tunnel, power plant and high rise building, worth up to USD 3 billion in Malaysia. His professional experience includes working for a multinational company in Japan, and recently in Indonesia. He has a huge interest in human development and contribution to society.

DRÂ SEOPARJO AZMELÂ MOHD ISA
Mentor (Careers in Medicine and Healthcare)
Born and raised in Perlis, Dr Parjo is the son of clerks. He received his primary education at Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Seri Indera and secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Derma. Aspiring to help others, he pursued his studies in medicine at Universiti Sains Malaysia. He previously worked in various medical fields in the Ministry of Health's hospitals and clinics as a medical doctor. He then continued his postgraduate studies in anatomical pathology and joined Universiti Sains Malaysia as a Medical Specialist (Pathologist) and Medical Lecturer. Currently he teaches pathology to students who aspire to become medical doctors and pathologists. He also does clinical work in Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia including performing tissue diagnosis, body fluid diagnosis and post mortem autopsy.

MOHD NADZRI ABU BAKAR
Mentor (Careers in Media)
“Nak seribu daya, taknak seribu dalih” a malay proverb that Mohd Nadzri Abu Bakar refers to significantly as his principle in life. Raised by parents who were teachers in Perlis, Nadzry understands and embraces the importance of creating a strong balance between education and passion. A holder of Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Mass Communication from UiTM, Nadzry started his television production career at ASTRO. His 10 years attachment as a TV Producer with ASTRO enabled him to being part of internationally renowned sports events such as FIFA Football World Cup 2006 and Olympic Beijing 2008 to name a few. In 2010 he took a bold move in his career by starting his own TV production company in 2010. Blublack Production is highly recognized by many through its impressive portfolio in sports TV production. His love for football, has been deeply-rooted as early as during his primary school years when he played representing state football teams. Nadzry currently holds an AFC coaching C-license and has been actively involved as the Technical Director for the local football league in Selangor; apart from owning a football club, SA United.

HAZIF AZLI MT HUSIN
Mentor (Careers in Consulting and Government)
Hazif was born in Perlis and raised by teachers who truly believe in the mantra, “hard work breeds success”. He attended Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Seri Indera before continuing secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Derma. He continued upper secondary education at MRSM Taiping before pursuing his tertiary education at KMYS and then Imperial College London, where he graduated with a BEng in Electrical and Electronics. Hazif later pursued a career in consulting with Accenture, a Fortune global 500 company, operating in 200 cities worldwide including Kuala Lumpur, where he served for more than 10 years in various capacities including Delivery Lead and Project Director. At Accenture, he developed a strong track record in programme and project management of complex IT transformation projects in the telecommunication industry. Aspiring to help the nation to transform its education system, Hazif joined the Education Performance and Delivery Unit (PADU) as Director of Programme Management. PADU is a delivery unit established by the Ministry of Education to deliver Malaysia Education Blueprint (2013 – 2025).

SHARMI DZHARI
Mentor (Careers in the Food Industry)
Born and raised in Perlis, Sharmi is the son of a paddy farmer. He received his primary education at Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Sungai Baru and secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Derma and MRSM Beseri. He holds a BEng in Process and Food from University Putra Malaysia. Currently, he is a technical director at Arab Ready Meals PSC (A JV Company of Brahim’s Overseas Venture in Jordan). At Arab Ready Meals he has established good business relationships with the shareholders, local authorities and clients from the Jordanian Armed Forces, World Food Program, ICRC, Oman Armed Forces, King Salman Foundation and supply relief agencies.

IR DR X
Mentor (Careers in Chemical Engineering and Academia)
Ir. Dr. X, born and raised in Perlis, lost his father when he was 13. After receiving his early education at Sekolah Tengku Budriah and Sekolah Menengah Derma, he pursued his study at Universiti Teknologi MARA and the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK in the fields of Industrial Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, respectively. In 2011, he obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering with Chancellor’s Commendation from Curtin University, Australia. Ir. Dr. X is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and a Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council, UK. He is now an associate professor and a dean at a public university in Malaysia. As an avid researcher, he has published more than 30 research articles in reputable scientific journals, and has received several national and international research grants totalling to over RM 3 million. Prior to joining academia, he worked as an engineer in the oil and gas and manufacturing industries. (Due to confidentiality reasons, the identity of the mentor cannot be revealed)

DSP MOHD AKMALRIZAL RADZI SIS
Mentor (Careers in the Police Force)
Born and raised in Perlis, ASP Akmal is the son of a clerk. He received his primary education at Sekolah Dato Wan Ahmad and secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Derma. He holds bachelor and master’s degrees in business administration, both from Universiti Teknologi MARA. Currently, he is an Assistant Superintendent of Police in Klang, Selangor in charge of gambling, vice and secret societies. Previously, he was an Aide De Camp (ADC) to Raja Muda Selangor, Tengku Amir Sharafuddin Idris Shah and an investigation officer (IO) in Subang Jaya. Before joining the Police Force, ASP Akmal taught English at SRK Seri Indera and SRK Titi Tok Bandar. In 2017, ASP Akmal was awarded Darjah Kebesaran Setia Sultan Idris Shah from DYMM Sultan Selangor.

DR NURFAHZURA MOHD JAMIL
Mentor (Careers in Medicine and Healthcare)
Dr Fahzura, born and raised in Perlis, received his primary education at Sekolah Seri Perlis and secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Derma and MRSM Kuala Berang. She holds a Medical Degree and Master of Medical (Ophthalmologist), both from Universiti Sains Malaysia. Dr Fahzura is an eye specialist at Hospital Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

AZUANDI MD KASA
Mentor (Careers in Government)
Azuandi Md Kasa was born and raised in Perlis. Despite growing up in a broken family (divorced parents), Azuandi managed to secure a place at Sekolah Menengah Derma, a premier school in his hometown. His leadership potential shone through when he was voted as Captain of the Derma hostel. In 2008, he joined the Malaysian Federal Public Service as a PTD officer, with a mission to bring significant change to the current administrative system. Holding a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia, he is a firm believer that public service delivery can be improved in this digital era through leveraging ICT as a tool. In 2012, Azuandi was awarded Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang (APC) for his outstanding contribution to the government service. In 2016, Azuandi was granted Hadiah Latihan Persekutuan (HLP) by the Malaysian Government which enabled him to complete his master’s degree in Corporate Communication at UPM with distinction. Currently, he is a Special Officer (Administration & Finance) at the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

DR AMIZA AMIR
Mentor (Careers in Computer Science and Academia)
Dr Amiza, born and raised in Perlis, received his primary education at Sekolah Seri Perlis and secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Derma. She holds a BSc in Computer Science from Univresiti Teknologi Malaysia, an MSc in IT from Universiti Utara Malaysia and a PhD in IT from Monash University, Australia. Dr Amiza is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science and IT at the School of Computer and Communication Engineering at UniMAP.

MAJOR MOHD RADZI OSMAN RMAF
Mentor (Careers in the Military)
Born in Simpang Pulai, Perak and raised in Perlis, Major Radzi Osman is the son of a retired army officer. He received his primary education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Paya and secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Derma. His began his career in the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) in 1998 when he was accepted into the Malaysian Armed Forces Academy (ATMA). He was commissioned into the RMAF in 2002 and awarded with a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Management. In 2010, Major Radzi was seconded to California, USA, as part of the Project Command and Control System for the RMAF. In 2014, he received a scholarship to further his studies in Master of Management at UNITAR. In 2017, Major Radzi was awarded a United Nations (Lebanon) Medal for his one-year service in the UN Interim Force in Lebanon as a Liaison Officer for UNIFIL, Lebanon and Israel.

SHAMRIZAL AHMAD
Mentor (Careers in IT)
Born and raised in Perlis, Shamrizal received his primary education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Paya and secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Derma. When he was an IT student at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) he was involved in a road accident which nearly took his life. He was in a coma for six days because of severe head injuries. This forced him to quit his studies at UUM. He later became a superbike mechanic in the Petronas racing team that participated in races across Asia. He later pursued his Diploma in Electronic Engineering at Kolej Kemahiran MARA. Realising that his real passion was IT, he pursed a professional certification as a Cisco Certified Network Associate. With this qualification, he joined Maybank as a network engineer. Whilst working he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Network and Security at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia on a part time basis. Currently, Shamrizal is an Assistant Manager of IT at Bank Islam in Kuala Lumpur.
